Promote Wellbeing Project Wins European Innovative Teaching Award for 2024
The Promote Wellbeing project has been recognized as one of the leading initiatives in the Secondary Education category of the 2024 European Innovative Teaching Award. This award, part of the Erasmus+ program, celebrates innovative teaching practices that make a significant impact on student and educator development.
The Promote Wellbeing project addressed critical areas such as digital competence, self-esteem, and healthy lifestyle behaviours among both students and teachers. It introduced key outputs, including the ProWell School mobile application—a digital health tool designed to promote healthy lifestyle choices—and comprehensive E-learning modules, which have been successfully integrated into school curricula. These modules provide resources for teachers and students to enhance their well-being, both physically and mentally, through digital tools and educational activities.
The European Innovative Teaching Award recognizes the project for its contribution to building a supportive educational environment where digital tools enhance well-being and personal development. The initiative underscores the importance of health awareness and resilience in modern education.
